Single Serve Chocolate Chip Cookie

One cookie, no eggs, no sharing.

This cookie has no friends—because it doesn’t need them. It’s a single-serve treat, baked just for you, and unlike most one-off cookie recipes, it won’t leave you cracking an egg only to wonder what to do with the rest. No yolks, no halves, no waste—just a few pantry staples, melted butter, and a generous handful of chocolate. The result is a warm, chewy cookie with crisp edges and a soft center, ready in minutes. Perfect for late-night cravings, small victories, or anytime you deserve a cookie all to yourself.

Single-Serve Chocolate Chip Cookie

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 Tbsp light brown sugar

  • 1 Tbsp caster (superfine) sugar

  • ½ Tbsp milk

  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour

  • Small pinch of baking powder

  • Small pinch of baking soda

  • Small pinch of sea salt

  • 2 Tbsp chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, caster sugar, and milk until smooth.

  3. Add dry ingredients: Sprinkle in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  4. Fold in chocolate: Stir in the chopped dark chocolate until evenly distributed.

  5. Shape: Form the dough into a ball and place it onto the prepared tray. Flatten slightly with your palm.

  6. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the center still looks soft.

  7. Cool & enjoy: Let the cookie cool on the tray for a few minutes before serving warm.
